Missaligned glove box door
Missaligned glove box door
Forget the dealer waste of your time ! Just take your left hand palm and apply it to the inside part where the lock mechanizm is, with glove box open. Than use right hand palm, apply to the outside right corner of the glove box and push up, with holding down with the left hand palm. Push hard but dont break the glove box door by doing this process. Just enough to bend glove box door. keep doing this from time to time untill glove box door fits your needs. Better to be done in very hot interiors, plastic is more flexible. This process take as much time to start the Max up to go to the dealer. Shame on NISSAN for this fit and finish!!!!
Yeah, I must say that this imperfection was one of the first things I noticed on the interior. For me, I'd have to say that that's about it though. Everything else pretty much works/fits pretty fine. I'm satisfied. I really don't even mess w/ the glove box door @ all anymore. Seems when I try the push/pull maneuver to try and even it out, it feels as if I'm going to break it. And when I do get it even, 10 minutes later it's right back the way it was anyway. There's really no fixing it...
what about applying some 3m tape, something thick, half inch, felt etc... on the inside left upperside, this will cause the left side to not go in all the way and cause the right side to even out with it.
what did the dealer say? i mean its obviously faulty right?
