2004 Nissan Maxima Navigation Heading Problem!

Have a 04 Max Elite and the Navigation always show the car pointed upward. I have set the Heading Tab to "North Up" but the map always show the car travel go up. I have also set it to the "Car Travel Up" and no change. Am I doing something wrong. Could someone else try this. The manual says " You can set the map either to show the vehicle's current forward direction as up, or to show North as up." Under the Heading Key. Any help would be great. Thanks, jdc1203

It always appears with the current forward direction up in Birdview display and make sure to set them in Planview display if I read your descriptions correctly.
