Got my car back

So finally I got my car back from a deer collision last night after work and boy have I missed her. But after closer examination I am disappointed. Looking at my new front end which IMO looks bada*s, I noticed that the bumper isn't sitting flush under the headlights and there is a gap about 1/2 where the hood meets the grill and also this morning I took off the tape that was securing my rear window spoiler to the window and with the tape coming off so did the spoiler.

So basically I waited a month to get my car back and to me it looks like shiznit

That looks like one of the worst body jobs I have ever seen. Who is doing quality checks at the dealer? You must be pretty steamed after waiting one month and that is what you get. How much was the bill? After one month that should be looking like new, when I looked at the picture I though that was the before picture not the after.

That is clearly the 'before', as everything is showing as badly crumpled.

Dude, I would take that car straight to the Nissan lot, measure the gaps on a new '04, write them down, and write the measurements of the gaps on your 'after repair' car right beside them. Take that list (and the car) back to the manager in charge of the repair and tell him you expect your gaps to be the same as on other Maximas.

That way, it won't be your opinion against his; it will be absolute measurement against absolute measurement.

Be sure and check carefully inside the hood/fenders. If repaired properly, you should not be able to tell the car was repaired just by looking.

DO NOT accept a poorly done repair job on an almost new $30K car.
