Dude, how many ding dang names you go by? Everytime I see pics of this certain car posted, it's under a different name...cardomain, FA, and this forum...what gives??? I'm starting to think that someone is perpetrating and claiming your car (or whoever's car!)...

Nice ride
What is the manufacturer and model of your front grille? I just got my new black Max last week (No pictures yet) and I would really like to get one like yours. May I also ask how much you paid for that grille.

Maximas are not very common in my area (Montreal, Canada) so I didn't know (before logging to this forum) there were aftermarket cosmetic parts like these that improve the already classy look of our cars.

Thanks for the compliment! I got the grille from the dealer, but after I researched, I found that E&G Classics actually manufactures the grille. Here's the link to the MAX grille on their website:

E&G Classics Website

I paid about $200 for the grille and had the dealer install, but I found out that you can actually do it yourself...it's not that difficult. Also, you may be able to find the same grille out on ebay or some other auction site for autos... I think it's so expensive because it's actually made of steel...

Dude, what the hell are you talking about! I've had this name since day 1. This has been my car since Sept.2003. I live in West Covina, (LA county) California. You might see me riding around town. Since the picture, I could tell you that I've raised the car back to stock height. I jacked up my front bumper and I'm bottoming out driving in and out of my driveway. I also have an E&G classic Grill. I don't know what else to tell you.

I don't know... Maybe I'm just trippin! But I could've sworn I've seen other people on cardomain and on the forums claiming that that car is theirs! And it wasn't no "elcopan"... Kinda weird... Anyway...

It's the Stillen intake which uses a K&N cone. I drove down to Stillen and got it for $160 and did the install myself. It's a great upgrade.

Jiujitsu, congrats on the pedals and shift ****. What kind of shift **** did you get? Does it sit high? Is that lever to shift into reverse still functional?

I have the same grille too. My dealer had it installed even before I saw the car.
I've also noticed that its available at www.wooddash.com. In my opinion, its the best after-market grille so far.

You can order that grill from Classic Restyling. I got a quote for 153.22 plus shipping. Much better deal than wooddash.com. The number for them is 8037919253. they are located in Columbia, SC

Right, I understand that...but $300 as opposed to the $200 that I paid? SOMEBODY is scamming!

Yea, $299 for a grille insert is steep. Just wanted to throw that website out there just incase he has problems finding it.

I am getting some body work repaired this week and want to get my grille painted body color. How hard was it to get the shop to paint your grille? How is the finish?

I looked at my window sticker and my car is "Super Black" is Onyx a different black?

Where did you see that your car is "super black"? All black 2004 Maximas are listed as "onyx" everywhere I've checked. Even on the main website (nissanusa.com) it's still listed as "onyx"...where did you get "super black"? Do you own an 04? I think the color code is something like "KH3" or something like that...

It's holding up well. One minor chip from road debris. Barely noticeable.

The body shop that I used is the same one that my local Nissan dealer uses. They used factory paint and the finish was perfect. It cost $150.

My dealership is actually selling this exact grille for 35 more dollars. Gwinnett Place Nissan in Duluth GA. Saw it when I got my 280 dollar, 15000 mi service.
