New to the site. hopefully everyone can be helpfull to me. I used to be a honda owner & used Honda-tech.com forums. 95 Turbo B18c Hatchback to be exact. I ordered a 04 Liquid Silver SE with Frost Leather, Nav and some other goodies.
the question i have is. If car should have VDC with Traction control like mine does. is there a seperate button & Light in the cluster or is it just the VDC button and Light?, Also i test drove a SE with NO Nav and it had the option to check the Average MPG and How Many miles till empty option. Is that option available in my car with Nav?

1st of all - Welcome aboard.

As far as i know - the VDC button controls all traction control. If the VDC is turned off "all" traction control is turned off. A light would turn on in the cluster indicating VDC OFF. If your wheels start spinning while the system is on a light will come on indicating SLIP on the dash cluster.

I don't have NAV is mine, but the NAV system has the options that you are referring to.

I don't have NAV but hit the TRIP button on the dash twice and it should show up on ther screen.

tryed that, all that does it go from A to B trip on the speedo. nothing happens on the screen

 

According to what i'm reading in the manual, I think that you need to hit trip a third time to get Fuel Economy.

Try that and see
