While cleaning the interior of my 04 SE, I noticed underneath the passenger seat that the carpet is cut in two straight lines, and a yellow wire underneath it. It became very visible when I pushed the seat all the way back. Does anyone know what this is? Thanks.

 

Yellow wire would have something to do with the airbags. all yellow wires or yellow lumed wires in any car are SRS wires. which means it goes to the airbag in the seat

 

That openeing made a nice spot to stick my DVD player. Ran the wires up the underside of the console and plugged into the power outlet under the console tray. At least nissan gave us some power up front.
