tint question

I own a black maxima and am looking to get it tinted. The legal limit in indiana is 30% for both front and rear windows. I was wondering if anybody with there black maximas with tints around 20-25% would post there pics so i can get an idea of how dark it will be.

And i was also wondering if there are any things i should watch out for when i'm getting it tinted, i've heard of a few people saying to watch out for dotmatrix.

yo, i had an 02 black acura before my max and i live in michigan and the driver and passenger window can't have tint on them at all. I had 7% on the back 3, the rear and two back doors and i had 23% on two front doors and it was tight, didn't look bad at all, it blended. I did the same on my 04 max but my car is coral sand, if you want pics i can send you some, just let me know where. i have pics of both cars. On my acura i had 11% on the front 2 doors and i got a ticket every month but then i went to 35% and i never got in trouble but they didn't blend in with the back windows so i did the 23% and didn't have a problem. The only cops in michigan that care about that are state cops.

Pics of mine with 35% all the way around on my link below. I really wanted 20% too but didnt want to get hassled by the stupid VA law! Looks alright though w/ 35%.

I just had full Limo done all the way around with a 35% front windshield screen.

Cops can issue me all the tickets they want it won't come off. Besides, the last car I had with this setup I was never stopped, so I'm too worried.

Car is being detailed during lunch tomorrow. I shall post pics for views then.

I checked into it here local and they wont $189.00 life time regular tint and they have platinum (wirror) $10 more. That might look cool. Anyone know who has platinum on smoke Max?

It's not on smoke, but here's an idea of what platinum looks like

20%

And another one

Not bad on silver but it doesn't look very dark. I've bean telling them to go as dark as the law allows on the front windows and 1 shade darker on the rest.

Correct me if I'm wrong because I'm too lazy to look it up, but I believe TX tint law is 35/20%. So unfortunately, legally you can't go any darker than that. If you want to go below 20%, you have to know if you'll get hassled because in some places the police just don't care. But I doubt that's the case with TX cops, so double check about that.

Another thing is that platinum is a bit reflective too, so that makes it harder to be able to see inside. I like darker tint too, it would be perfect if you could get 10-15% but you know best..
