Sunroof rattle

Within the last 2k miles or so, I've noticed a rattle in the sunroof. It happens most noticeably when the sunroof is closed, but I can still hear it when the roof is tilted open, or opened all the way.

Passengers have tried to help me track it down, but the rattle still eludes me. Anyone have any suggestions, or dealt with this before.

I have an appointment with the dealer this weekend for an oil change, and will likely have them take a look. They don't have a great track record with me tracing down and fixing these types of issues, however.

thanks

Check to make sure that it's not the headliner hitting the supports in the roof - that might just be the problem.

Take it to the dealer - they can remove the headliner and install some foam strips across the supports to keep the headliner from banging on the roof - should be a warranty fix. I have had the problem on occasion, and the dealer said they would fix it if I wanted them to - haven't heard it lately so have not had it fixed but they will do it free of charge if I ask, and so should yours...

Thats interesting. I've had that problem time from time. I'll ask them to fix that next time along with my seat belt light.
