Rims, staggard offset

I'm thinking ab out getting some forged three piece wheels and was wondering what is the widest wheel I can put in the rear without rubbing. I want 20 x 10 in the back to sit flush and have a big dish and in the front I want a slight dish probably 20 x 8.5. Want that staggard look. Has anyone tried this or have ppictures of it

Why would it not look right? There's no visual clues that distinguish front wheel drive cars from rear wheel drive cars.

I say go for it. You may want to even go with a 9" up front.

Umm, you seen the Maxima badge on the back of our cars? That's a dead giveaway that's it's FWD.

Umm...even though it is front wheel drive it doesn't matter, why do you put rims on a car, to look good, right?. On my last car I had 18 x 10's in the back of a front wheel drive car, with 18 x 8's in the front looked very classy, not getto, and I dont have any badges on the back of my car so no dead give away. I just want a nice classy stance

I agree having wider in the back makes it look nicer, and more aggresive if you will, but honestly its much more potent on a rwd or awd vehicle than a fwd.

What does that mean?!

We all know that the Maxima is FWD, but that has NOTHING to do with how the wheels are going to look!

It means that rear wheels with a larger width are FUNCTIONAL on a RWD or AWD vehicle. While on a FWD vehicle they are for poseing only.
