New member/ new MAX

This is my first time logging on, But not my First Maxima, I've owned a 4th,5th
and currently purchase My new 2004 smoke with all the bells and whistles MAX.
that just rolled of the line in June of 2004. I have to say I love this car, The other two are no comparison, but still great cars.

welcome aboard, gary_25848.

Is the 85248 from the British way of writing August 25th, 1948? If so, you are three days older than my wife, and you were born on a Thursday. And if you think SHE is old, wait till you find out how old I am.

Smoke has proven to be a very popular color here. You were wise to wait and buy a little later in the model year. My SL was built in May, and has had no problems so far. Hopefully, Nissan is gradually fixing most of the 'new-gen' birthing glitches.

Again, welcome to Maxima.org!

Actually, as per his profile he was born on March 30th, 1964. 25848 might be some zip code or something

Lightonthehill, we can only look up to you and appreciate your knowledge and wisdom.. age is completely irrelevant

Yes, I love the smoke too

Thanks everyone for the warm welcome, I logged on this morning and had
8 replys. it shows that Maxima folks are a good bunch of friendly, loyal people.
The 25848 was something MSN asigned to me cause I was not feeling to creative at the time.
I currently turn 4K today and have not experiance any of the problems some
of you have experiance. maybe Nissan has work out the bugs, since my MAX
was built in June 2004 or for lightonthehill that would be 010604.
Hade a rush this morning going to work, cursing along about 80mph, saw some
daylight manually drop my 5sp into 3rd and punch it. " what a rush" in about
3 sec. I was hitting triple digits! Gotda luv it!!!!!

84, 87, 90, 94 SE, 97 SE, 2000 SE and now a 2004 to go with my 350 Z.

I also have a 2003 Pathfinder LE which is my fourth Pathfinder. I had a 96, 98, and a 2000.

My oldest Son traded an Xterra for an Altima and my youngest Son now drives a 2002 Altima.

Like I said, I love my Nissans!!!
