So when I had the car at the dealer today to try and get this molding thing solved....he notices three circular blemishes in the smoke paint on the rear bumper. Looks like a faint il stain under the clear coat....they're gonna contact Nissan on this one as well.....

Sounds like the conclusion is going to be to repaint the bumper.....it's barely noticeable defect (I didn't see it on my inspection) but worried that it might be aproblem further out (chipping/peeling?) Howeverm, also worried about repaint problems (Matching? Durability????)

Anyone have any experience or thoughts on this one?????

I had similar problems when I picked up my car on a saturday night. I noticed the molding chrome peeling thing, some scratches on the bumper, and nav controls in the console instead of the non nav. Went in Monday morning and by the end of day that monday I had a new one waiting. 6 months have passed and the interior has deterioted on my console. Going tomorrow to see if I can get a new console from the '05.

my point is, you should be able to get a new car if its within a couple days, by law you have like 96 hours to cancel a sale.

 

Nope, not in California you don't. It's called the "no cooling off period" which means once you sign the papers, the deal is done.
