Fuel Requirements?
OK So I just bought a 2004 & not clear on fuel. The manual says use 87 octane or better....dealer says regular unleaded is fine.
Edmunds says that Premium unleaded fuel is advised. On further reading sounds like the engine has higher compression ratio and preignition problem with 87 octane....
Anybody got the full story on this??? Will reg unleaded hurt performance? Any chance to damage engine over long haul???
