Audio input
Does anyone know if the '04 Maximas have an auxilary input for an external audio source like an I-Pod? I know there is an option for satellite radio and thought there might be an input connection somewhere on the audio system for that.

There is a SAT to AUX converter made by PAC. Here is the link. http://www.autotoys.com/x/cust/produ...6&cat=0&page=1 I myself have it installed. I have it running up through my armrest, its a clean install. It sounds good however, I use it for my Roadie XM radio, and its not ampliphied loud at all. I have to turn the volume up to abour 25 to have it equivalent to about 10 on my tape(my alternate source for XM). I confronted AutoToys (the sold me the PAC converter) about this and they sold me an ampliphier booster which I have not hooked up yet since I need to run a wire from my battery, and I didnt want to blow a fuse because somebodu else did here on the board. Maybe I will eventually, the tape adapter works well for me, sounds great and its loud.

Thanks for the feedback everyone. I have an I-Trip which is okay but too often there is static and the sound is just not very clean. I have also used the cassette adaptor which actually does give a good sound but I'm trying to avoid having cords and wires always showing. I guess what I really want is the BMW solution where I can connect the I-pod in my console or glove box and not have cords showing.
