Any word on what vehicles were effected by this? Just bought an 04 SL built in June. No shimmey yet wondering if my car was built after they caught it or if I'm in for trouble down the road??

 

I think most if not all built after Feb 04 are fine with this issue. I bought mine in April 04 and no problem with that issue. Also came with the updated info screen (the plastic shield) and is scratch resistant which is much talked about on the forum.

 

And not all maximas have it, either. I bought my 04 Max just over a year ago and have never had a shimmy problem.
