Hi all,

Anyone have a good technique for removing those black clips that hold down the trunk carpet and trim? My old car had similar clips but they had a slot on the top for a screwdriver so it was easy to turn and pull out. But the ones on my max don't have a slot and I don't want to maul them trying to remove them so I can access the stuff underneath.

Figernails, I had to take these out once myself. It's a pain the the butt, but with a little work with your hands and fingernails you should be able to make it work. You can use a screw driver too, I did after taking two out by hand. You shouldn't chew up the plastic too bad if you take your time and be careful about it. Good luck
