Trade up for a 2k4 6spd SE?

Trade up for a 2k4 6spd SE?
I am interested in trading up for a 2k4 6spd SE with HLSD.
I currently own a 2k2 6spd SE with HLSD and though I am
extremely happy with my Max, I am, however, being severely
tempted by the new suspension of the 2k4 SE.
I really like the look of my 2k2 Max, and I think the 2k2 looks
better than the 2k4 Max, BUT the 2k4's superior suspension
is something I can't ignore. The small difference in horsepower
should not make a difference in performance between the two
cars though (right?)
What do you think? What are your pros and cons for (and
against making such trade up)?
Thanks for your time!

I traded in a 2003 SE for a 2004 SE, both autos. My 2004 feels faster than my 2003, but the 2004 is a 5 speed auto and the 2003 was a 4 speed.
As for the suspension, my 2004 feels significanlty more stable on the road especially on bumpy roads curvey roads.
I'm very satisified with my trade up, havn't looked back and wouldn't go back.
I'm not saying that my 5th gen was a crappy car, but i am saying that i like my 6th gen much better.

To me, trading in your 2k2 for a 2k4 just for the independant rear suspension is not really worth it. If you were concidering a new car anyways, since yours may be about 4 years old then it sort of figures into the direction you're going.

Yeah my bad. I was just reading the article on the 2006 M5. Made me think there were 4 years on his 2k2. lol
If I had an extra $130,000CDN burning a hole in my pocket I'd use the 2k4 Maxima as a winter beater.

Thanks for the feeback guys!
I think I'll just hang onto my 2k2 Max for now. I like it a lot,
and I'll look into putting in the RSB for starters (I heard that
it helps a lot) and then an FSTB. Yes, I checked around and
I will be losing quite a bit of money--- new cars depreciate
fast (especially with so many incentives offered for them
by car manufacturers nowadays)
Yes, I am salivating over that new M5 as well!!! I sure wish
that I owned the king of sports sedans (IMHO).

quality of the car too much. However, coilovers and suspension mods should roughen up the ride. I use my Max for long range trips, so I am not sure
I want to make significant, lasting changes to my Max's ride. Thanks for the input!
