Dimpled the Roof

Dimpled the Roof
I had some very resistant marks on the roof very close to the windshield. Must have been embedded for general NXT applications were useless. It had a rough feel to it so today I took out my claybar for the first time. While on a small stool I was able to work above the area and yes it did finally take it off, but it was not easy.
After waxing I noticed that there was a small, but definitely there dimple, in the roof where I had rested an elbow while working at a very low angle! I had previously noticed that my chrome trim piece had some dimpling in it; that I assumed was done on installation. I never said anything about it for I believed it to be a general problem of light weight (read as possibly cheap) materials. But this latest mark is the pits. I guess I cannot touch the car hard when cleaning it.
God forbid that a door hits it. It will be another Dateline story.

Ask your dealer who does their paintless dent removal for them. That person should be able to take care of the problem dings easily. Since you are a customer of that dealer, the paintless guy should do an especially good job, and be sure to mention which dealer employee recommended him to you.
