auto shift knob

auto shift ****

has anyone seen an aftermarket shift **** that looks like the stock one or remotely close but is wood grain instead of the leather??? Stupid dealership broke mine and now is telling me that i must of done it.

Havn't seen any, but i just wanted you to know that there is a TSB out for the auto shift ****.

My dealer repalced mine under warranty.

Silverbelle,
Why did they replace your shift ****? Was it broken, because the TSB just tells you how to remove it, it doesnt say it should be replace does it?

Mine was broken at about 500 miles after new, got just a cheap 15 dollar chrome **** at a local auto parts shop. Kinda in the same situation as you, but never liked the stock one anyways. I like the steel ball shape. Check with Momo for some good wood grain stuff. They are not cheap, but good stuff. If if has a allen wrench adjustment...will fit quite well.

The sleeve wouldn't stay attached to the ****, was sliding down the shaft and the **** kept popping off. They changed the ****/sleeve and its been good since.
