IPOD installation/ TV setup in info section
Got an ipod and can't stand running it through the cassette deck. Get road noise through the speakers I was wondering how you hard wire it into the BOSE System. I've tried searching for the other threads about this, but to no luck. I've heard about the Pac adaptor but some have said that you need a boost control. How hard is install? Clean looking?Cost? Reactions? Any info is greatly appreciated.
Also I remember pics of tv install where the info screen sits and they drop the info screen to the compartment tray at the bottom. If anyone can find a link to those pics it be useful since my local audio shop doesn't see how it can be done and I need that sh*t.

If you don't have SAT you can run the PAC adapter from that input, I ran the wire in through my center console, pretty clean. But I did replace my HU as well.
Not sure about boost control, haven't heard...

Also here's the link and a pic for the guy who moved the screen:

thanks jsmithsole. What I'm looking to do is keep the Bose System, add a Pac adaptor so I can have RCA outs. Move the info screen down to the bottom and put a monitor in place ( like that dude did) and a dvd player in the glove. You think this is possible?

Sounds all feasible to me, not sure about the audio for the DVD? I'm no installer but it seems you would have to use a switch between the DVD and the RCA's for the IPOD (since there's only one extra out on the stock HU). Why don't you just go for it and replace the HU as well, the stock Bose speakers sound much better when you can adjust them a bit with a HU installed. I'm sure someone on here has a better answer than that, just my 2 cents worth...
