Seat Vibration

Has anyone experience driver and passenger seat vibrating while driver at 75-80mph. I remember a few weeks ago someone mentioned that they are noticing this. I got my shimmy fixed thinking that caused it. Well it didn't. The steering is still but the seat vibrates and if no one is next to me, I can see the passenger seat shaking. By the way, I'm also noticing that the shimmy in the steering is starting to come back again. Not happy with that.

Yep, my passenger seat vibrates sometimes and drives me nuts... I know a Nissan Titan owner who has the same problem too... so it's not just the Maxima.

I had the same problem right after I drove mine off the lot, anything over 65-70 the passenger seat vibrated like crazy. Took it in and both tires on the passenger side were out of balance. Picked it back up and all is fine and very smooth.

This drives (pun?) me nuts.

I found that after a friend was riding in the car, the noise/vibration of the seat was gone (obvious). But, it never came back as the seat was in a reclined position. Try it. If seat is in straightup position, it will vibrate.

The design is clearly the problem. Notice how high the seat tracks are from the floor? And the active-headrest system may actually be causing the seat to be top heavy (more weight from center or bottom).

Now I am hearing creaks...when turning.

i found vibration in mine was the seat bumping the belt buckle against the wall. I reclined it back one notch and it stopped. I thought it was only because of my nismo pad that cause slack since it never happened before. I found the seats to be pretty solid. Only happened on certain bumps in the road. I had to really smack it to move enough to vibrate the belt. I figure it's a drawback to SE suspension/low profiles.

I have the same seat vibration. My dealer has told me that Nissan engineers are working on the issue.
