....the rims on the Silver Maxima look pretty good, but the ones on the black one gives the a car a 'cheapen look'. No offense but those rims just look too plain, doesn't do nothing as far as the appeal factor is concerned, atleast in my opinion.

...black one??? I think its blue. I like the rims though. Looks real good and real clean. I like the look of the front lip on the car too.

HUGE improvement off the stock wheels...but you really should've went chrome! Chrome sets the MAX off so much!!! But the "machined" look does your car just fine...

Thanks for the opinions. I never bought chrome wheels in my life. Don't know why I just don't like it too much. About the lowering, I have a set of shocks being made as we speak. I have eibach springs. i had them on the car a while ago and the stock shocks were not to my liking.

Yes the car is blue. If it was black I would definitely have black wheels.

Oops. I blame it on the crappy 14" monitor here at work.

All you guys with 20's, do you get a vibration around 50-60 MPH. I know about the shimmy because I have it with my stocks. It happens more with the 20's. Also the wheels and tires were balenced with the Hunter machine, road force and everything. This is the ONLY thing I wish Nissan can fix. Is there any definite reason this is still happening after 1 year?

I have a 04 and no vibrations, no shimmy, no strut problems, been running 20" rims since the car had been bought new. Hell, even running big 20" bolt on spinners that I have since removed.....no problems.

Shocks are being made by a company called active tuning. He is installing KONI inserts in my factory cores. KYB AGX already has the rears. I will let you guys know how things go. I will find the email and send it to you guys.

Well I already knew about active tuning having the fronts for the altimas but I didnt think they would work on the maximas. Also I knew about the agx rears but same scenario. Well if these work then that may have to be my next mod. How much they chargin ya for all that good stuff?

I don't remember the price, but I have to find the email.. I think it's like 350 just for the fronts. The altima guys have been raving about it.. I am willing to pay because these stock struts are horrible.

Yes it's not easy to find a clean looking 20 inch rim. I like simple classy wheels not all the ghetto chrome. Although I have seen some cars on the org (6th GEN) with some nice classy chrome wheels wheels. EX. Mike TX and the guy with the ones that look like lowenharts.

Damn kloogy......be nice....you call yourself pimp, have a 02......and hate on chrome. Granted we get the point, you hate chrome, you have 19" rims....guess that is not performance oriented. EASE UP a bit......

I must say I used to be a hater of chrome. The problem is not chrome, it's the designers making the wheel. It seems like they just put anything together just as long as it's chrome. I have seem some classy chrome, not many but some.

I used to be a chrome hater as well, now that I have chrome, it has definitely grown on me...
I didn't want any ghetto steez, I felt I made a good choice for what I was willing to spend:
