Scary Story

i dont know if this has happened to anybody but i was racing a acura rsx on the freeway doing about 110. everything was going good, dodging cars, adrenaline pumping, im ahead of him by like 5 cars when im going around a bend and all of a sudden this f$%*in idiot hits his brakes and i hit the brakes and when i hit the brakes the back end goes out on me and starts fishtailing and keep in mind that im doin about 100.the back end of my max fishtails like 3 times left to right, tires screeching like crazy. finally get the max under control but boy did this scare the crap out of me. i thought i was going to lose it for sure but god was with me. basically what im saying is i know its fun to race but be careful out there guys.

If you must race, race on roads with no traffic. You are less likely to get shafted like that.
P.S. Bad things happen when you drive like an idiot. One member here got in an accident in his new infiniti killing his 2 friends that were in the car. Be careful is all I can say!

why would you waste your time racing a rsx anyway? save your gas money on something that's worth racing and please DRIVE RESPONSIBLY. i don't want to be one of your victims on road.

And I thought it was just me

I just got my 04 last week. However, I had an 01 AE and the exact same thing happened to me here in Toronto. I was on one of the busiest stretches of the busiest highway in Canada, Highway 401 and 400 when I was going about 110kmh some moron cut me off, I hit my brakes no different than I have a million times before and they locked up. I felt the car literally bouncing and fish tailing back in forth. By the grace of God, I did not hit anybody and I somehow wound up facing the right direction in the middle of the centre lane. As I caught my breath and drove very slowly traffic around me that had seen it all, passed me, waved and gave me the thumbs up to make sure I was okay. I got off at the next exit, composed myself and continued on. I hope this dot happen with my 04. It scared the crap out of me, but it never happened again.

....I really don't mean any disrespect by saing this but that's just idiotic. First and foremost the car you chose to race is waaaaaaay slower than the '04-'05 Maxima so that in itself was a waste. Second of all you were swerving between cars?? Not the brightest thing to do when traveling 100+ mph. I hope when the guy hit the brakes you didn't start blaming him and bit**ing at him for doing so, after all you were the fool driving wreckless. People like you get no sympathy from me when those deadly accidents occur. I'm not going to say I've never raced on the street or highway but when I've done it I've had atleast the common sense not to do it with so many cars around. Losing your life is one thing, but taking another one because you decided to be a fool is another.

Once again I mean no disrespect but I've lost a few friends because of people like you.

My street racing days have been over since I was 19....I used to have a SS Camaro that was runnin 11's, and that used to be my biggest hobby for the most part.....After a while it gets old, and it tears up your car.....My new Max is my baby, I don't push that car hard at all because I want it to last.....

What he said, but I do mean disrespect. If some fool flies by me at 110 racing some other fool, I'm dialing 911 and sicking the cops on 'em. Maybe they can stop you before you spread blood and body parts all over the highway. n:

As an ER physician in Chicago I have the oppurtunity to see a lot of jack asses such as yourself, and unfortunately usually the ones who end up dying are the innocent bystanders who get their minivan clipped when your weaving in and out of traffic at over 100 mph. Do me a favor, next time you want some high risk excitment, take yourself, and your douche bag buddies into the basement and take turns sticking a partially loaded pistol to your empty heads. At least then, when one of you dies, you wont take an innocent five year old with you.

curious about this thread since it's about racing. either mods don't know about it, or they enjoy you getting your well deserved ask chewed out. but like your other posts, you never respond once you post something. you just stay on the west coast, and I'll feel a bit safer on the east.

LOL that's cool. just in case you're unaware, rules clearly state several times about racing posts. they did add a racing forum you coulda posted during the weekend: http://forums.maxima.org/forumdispla...sprune=30&f=78
where you still woulda got for your antics, but less hassle about it.
No hard feelings, from me anyhow. Seems like everyone else has stronger setiments towards you, but I can take it.

BTW down this thread?

And we're the ones that pick them up out of their cars and bring them to you Getz EMT/FDNY here. Seen a lot of it when I was active.

You represent the west coast poorly.

Idiots like you are the reason why people die in race-related accidents everyday. You probably won't learn until someone gets hurt.

This thread is full of noobish.

No hard feelings? Fock that. People die because of idiots like him...if you can't race carefully, then dont do it. Worst part about it is to make a thread about racing and almost getting yourself killed/killing someone.
