i got 1 12" Audiobahn Sub it puts out 1100 Watt RMS and a Audiobahn 2200HCT Amp which can handle 2400 Watt's now can i put this in my self and if i do what would i need to buy to plug it into the original head unit and is it really worth it to buy a new head unit nd if so should i buy a apline or go for one with many EQ's? How much am i lookin to spend about total ? Sub and Amp come together for around $490
That's funny...I just ordered an audiobahn sub.
Anyway, to interface the amp with your original radio, you will need to get a PAC adaptor. The model number is OEM2NIS or something like that...I'll get the exact model number later. If you go with a new HU then you will need to get a dash kit as well. If you don't mind losing your indash 6 disk and certain other features then go ahead and get the aftermarket. Aftermarket HU can give you alot of other features that the stock one can't (lowpass filters, highpass filters, EQ's, better am/fm tuners, MP3 capabilities, etc.). So, it's pretty much just up to you and what you think you'll need from your sound system.
I'm pretty sure you can find the adaptor that you'll need for under $100. The dash kit will run about another $50-$75 depending on where you order it.
Good Luck with system....I hope your Audiobahn bangs as I hope mine will!!!

Why replace the factory Bose system when it will cost you so much money to replace the factory system. You have to buy four 6 3/4" speakers for the front doors and rear doors. You have to buy two 6X9", and not to mention the head unit and a possibly two amps, one for the regular speakers and one for your subs. You are talking $1500 - $2000 for a good quality system, easy. Every kit I have seen for the aftermarket stereos makes your car look like you have added a stereo with a cheap kit. I like the clean appearance of the factory look. I added a sub to my factory system and when I turn up the volume the bass drops off. I know this is the Bose system doing this. Maybe its the line level adapters doing this. If I could have ordered my Max the way I wanted it, I would have opted out of buying the Bose system It is the biggest waste of money for the sound quality. I love Bose but the system in the Max is inferior in sound quality. The volume is too low and it lacks high end and low end.
