Is your dealer 'cool' with Max having an Intake?

Does your Nissan Dealer or Service Manager like the intake on the Max?

before I installed my injen intake i asked if it would void my warrenty, he basically said it wouldnt void my entire warranty but if my Mass Air Flow sensor goes, it wont be covered because I modified the intake.

A quick fix: Just change it back to stock he told me on the side =)

I took mine in for a lot of creaking and groaning and ticking in the left front suspension. Turns out they decided it was caused by the rigid connection of my Berk intake to the inner fender wall. They suggested some insulation between there, and didn't charge me for the diagnosis under warranty.

I used some heavy rubber grommets between the bracket and the inner fender, and between the bracket and the intake, and that took care of it.

Since it really wasn't a warranty issue, they could really have charged me for the diagnosis, but they didn't. They really liked the look of the intake!!!

My dealer and tech installed my Berk - so they must like it, and the tech said that if there was an issue - not to worry...
