The Juice

Not very descriptive. Which leads me to believe it's snake oil.

Cheap though

Heck, they can't even spell "response"

Forget about it... might even end up causing more trouble than you can pay for!

I can't tell anything about the installation, but you may have to splice wires. That will never hold up for warranty work! It's really tough to say how this interfaces with the intake sensor. Most likely it fools the ecu to think it has the optimum flow and temperature present for best HP. It's a tough call because it's cheap, but at the same time it could really mess things up. Most performance gains are made through changing the ecu programing itself. I'd be skeptical of this one.

There is a legitimate product for diesel engines with the same name but it's in the $600 range. This just screams CRAP. I'll ask the seller for more detail for sh*ts and grins ...

Response from seller

Q: Dear thejuiceboxcompany,

It's not at all clear from your description how this actually works. And is each module tuned for a specific car or is this a generic mod?

A: these are vehicle specific and in short our module over rides the ecu to add the power and torque .. log onto www.thejuiceboxcompany.com for more info
Thank you very much.

This device may work, or it may not. If you can get it for $30 it may be worth testing out the results. They advertise it for $79 online. I am a little bit skeptical about how this thing will work. It seems that the box will connect to the MAF sensor tricking the ECU into thinking the car is at WOT. The theory seems valid, but who knows how it really performs and how it will effect the car in the long run. IMHO the only real way to do this right would be to re-write the ECU with new lookup tables for performance vs the tables the ECU uses now.

Here is what the site says about how the box works.

It is CRAP, about the same as buying a cheap...I remember some Radio Shack 25 cent piece, diode or some worthless piece of crap that makes the car CPU think the temp is different. Will do NOTHING for you and will really **** off the dealer. I remember with my Camaro they were trying the same thing to mess with the timing, did not do anything. Save your money. They call it "The Juice"...because you have to drink heavily to think it will actually work. File it under the Tornado mod that actually does more harm than good.

so its suppost to be an ecu upgrade like JWT but for $24 and piggy packs onto the ecu.

why why in the listing did it say it could connect throught he Coolant temp sensor? it can control the ecu from there?

completely BS, waste of money, close thread to get 12-20 Hp gain on our cars we would need more than $30 to do it.
