AHHHH!!!! This is not my night!

I had a f@cking brain fart and tried to start the car before plugging the MAF connector back up. Now, I've got the SES idiot light on.

Does anyone know the reset procedure for the 6th Gens? I have tried the reset procedure for the '02/'03 but I have not been able to get that to work.

Curious, why did you disconnect the MAF connector?

Anyways.....on my Z28, you could reset the computer by pulling the fuse....can't remember how it went, but turned the igniton for so many seconds, took out key, inserted fuse.....computer was reset.

Autozone might be able to hook you up....or take it to the dealer and tell them...."Don't know what happened....check it out." They should reset it for free under warranty....but expect to wait QUITE A FEW HOURS....

Carcus - I disconnected the maf so I could clear space to access the driver's side headlight.

Viper - Thanks, man.

Ahhh.....got it, thanks Doug.

Was it a pain to get to the bulbs? Also, what is the status of the check engine light? Has it reset?

It really is a pain to access the bulbs. It's not hard work, just time consuming being that you have to move so many pieces (trim, airbox, coolant resevoir, fuse box, etc).

I have not been able to get my timing right during the reset procedure. I'm calling the dealer tomorrow to see if I can get it reset for free. My patience is wearing thin.
