Did Sears use a GSP9700 balancing machine? It seems no other machine is able to balance to the tolerance required by the 6th gen Maxima.

Be aware that, even after the wheels/tires are near perfect, the shimmy TSB says the tension may still have to be adjusted on the steering rack.

Lemon

mattman2003 you are not alone.

Today I drove 400 miles and my shimmy & vibration is back in FULL FORCE. I felt the skin of my mouth flap today, the vibration is that bad.

I'm going in for the 4th time this coming Monday. I'm afraid this is it, if they can't fix it I will 100% seek the lemon Law. I can't deal with it anymore. I'll even take a hit

I guess I'm one of those ppl that got stuck with a POS.

If your interested, I saw already a few members have gotten their Max bought back or whatever, I'm not a donating member so I can't search for the threads. But email me so we can setup a repository of info as I'm not entirely sure what to do next myself.

More importantly, what we're missing is why Nissan has refused to do any warranty work for him!

Why is it taking so long for you while others here have got their lemon law hearing sooner and have replaced their maximas?
