I remember the first time I laid eyes on the 6th gen. It was a silver one and it went cruising by me, I said to my daughter, "Wow, what is that?" I had been thinking about getting a new car for months, but I didn't know what I wanted. As soon as I saw the Max I was hooked. I did go and test drive other cars and I saved the Max for last, knowing in the back of my mind the Max was what I really wanted anyway. After I drove the Max I knew that I didn't need to go any further. Just the features alone the Max had over all the other cars I test drove didn't even come close. It seemed all the other cars lacked something that I wanted, I just couldn't find one that had everything without getting gouged. The Max had it all, plus I picked up other features as well, like the heated/telescopic steering wheel and powered mirrors. I have absolutely no regrets.

Burny.. that happens to all of us (although all are not wives!!)

alicious: you probably right ... there's more fun in spending that 10 G on clothes!! (according to all the women I know!)

but the biggest OOH's ans Aah's, I got, came from women, when I got this car. Maybe they were just trying to make me feel good (seeing how I looked like a kid on on Christmas night!)

I agree with Burny. My wife refuses to drive my 1999 Honda Civic. I drive the Max on the weekends or when it needs air or gas
You'd figure that after 1 year of driving the Max, she would know what grade of gas to put in!!!
