Comments/Questions About Fuses
The other day I accidentally blew my 2004 front power outlet fuse. This made me notice the labelling on the fuse door (driver's left leg area), while replacing it.
The front passenger area power outlet (on the right side of the dash) is labelled as the Cigarette Lighter. Yet, there is also a FR Power Outlet fuse and RR Power Outlet fuse. Which ones are these? Was this already in place, with Nissan knowing they would add a third power outlet in the 2005 model?
The "Battery Saver" fuse - what is that for??
The "Subwoofer" fuse - what is that??

Yep - I know about the center console outlet and use it often. I too think it was well designed, because I can hide the charger and bring the cord out to my cell phone.
Still, this doesn't answer my questions.
So, if "Cigarette Lighter" is the one on the passenger foot well area, and I presume the "FR Power Outlet" one is the center console, what is the "RR Power Outlet" fuse for? Might this be one in the center console the 4-seater has? (I have the 5 seater so I wouldn't know). Then what extra one does the 2005 model have?
Also, again, what is the "Battery Saver" fuse for?? "Subwoofer" fuse??
Not a big deal - just curious more than anything.

Thanks Bytemonger - I LOVE the 4 seater...thought a burnt orange with orange leather interior would be the nicest model of any 6th gen. I think those will be a real collector vehicle.
But with a family and roadtrips, just couldn't bring myself to buy one.
Do you have any pics of yours?

Thanks Hofb - that clears up the subwoofer one...I didn't know they were fused. I thought it would be to add an aftermarket one somewhere.
It doesn't make sense to me a fuse would blow if you left the door open or lights. This must be for something else.
