Basic options/accessories questions
Hi,
Can someone confirm my understanding ---
On the SE,
preferred package = sensory package + other stuff
sensory package = premium audio + other stuff
So the preferred package includes the premium audio?
Also if we configure an SE with preferred package and an SL with the preferred package...
They should be the same exact vehicle except the SE will have stiff suspension, the rear spoiler, and an extra inch on their wheels? Are there any other differences?
Thanks,
Slink

Slink - On the '04 Maxima SE ('05 looks to be the same), as you suggested, The SE Sensory Package also includes everything in the SE Premium Audio Package, and the Driver Preferred Package also includes everything in the SE Sensory Package. Hence, you correctly surmised that the Driver Preferred Package includes the Premium Audio Package.
As to the differences between the SE and SL, both with driver Preferred Package, the only additional difference I can add to your list is the SE has metallic interior trim, while the SL has woodgrain interior trim.
If you wanted to get very technical, the wheel hub offset of the SE and SL are different due to the different style wheels, etc, and several undercarriage parts differ (this is where we get the firm/not so firm ride difference). But you have essentially correctly covered the differences.
