why in the world would you want brighter than our HID? I anticipate someone flashing me so I can educate them that the Max HIDs are low beams.... "This is high beam"

if you really want brighter, just drive with the fogs on and/or replace the fog bulbs to brighter.

based on all the information about kelvin rating, the 4300k bulb (that the max has) is the brightest bulb. the higher the rating, the more blue the light gets (like a 6000k d2s bulb) but not brighter cause its a higher rating

i guess if you want to make your lights brighter, just adjust them slightly higher, although you will be getting flashed from on coming traffic. I think the stock hid lights on the max are great.

search for proper aim alignment of headlights on the web, maybe yours were aimed too low at the factory. ask the dealer if they are too low.

Philips do make 55 watt HID bulb (so far, it only available in Germany) can be imported. I'm not sure if you have to upgrade you ballast.

i wanted the lights to look like bmw lights have that blue color in them if possible, like the other day a m3 was behind me and the lights even with the auto dimmer were bright i kinda liked that...

we do have a blue tint. it's caused by the light hitting our shutter. look at a kelvin scale one day. ours is at the optimal range (closest to natural light) Have a Max follow you, or pass one in the opposite direction, you will see how bright our HIDs are and realize why we already get flashed. Depending on the angle, ours are super white to blue, even a bit purple. They are distinctive though. I much prefer that over trying to look like BMW. b/c IMHO 6th Gen > Bimmer (for the options/price comparison)

Nismo is correct. they are tinted blue. I converted to HID and thought they were just white as well. I made my friend drive my car and I took my friends. I drove in front of my car and then had him drive towards me. they change with the way you are looking at them. and they look great!
