iPod

What is the best way you have found to hook up your iPod to your car? I have been reading up on it and have found different way. Just want to know what you guys think.

is it me or is there no search button in the forums???

BTW, I am using a cassette adaptor and ...it sux. Hum, frequency response is awful and etc...but for free, I shouldn't complain. There is a member here that sells the ipod adaptor (hardwire audio into SAT feature of Stock Bose) but I forget name/web site. I can't find search feature so if anyone knows and can post (I have paypal money now buddy...)

The PAC AAI-NIS adaptor connects to the SAT input of the Factory BOSE. As long as you don't have SAT you can go this route. That way at least you get quality sound. I added a cup holder mount for mine (see Car Domain page)
Bryan at Berk stocks the PAC adaptor:
bryan@berktechnology.com
Here's some info as well:

You totally suck, jsmith!!!

I have the OEM SAT tuner installed...would love to add iPOD, but can't since I can't install the adapter!!!

I'm envious of your setup! So for now, I have to settle w/ my Rio mp3 feeding through a tape adapter...although, my tape adapter has EXCELLENT bass response and doesn't sound bad @ all w/ the Bose! Pushes the stock subs to their potential; no hiss or sound degradation @ all... It'll do for now, I guess...

Sooo! That means I can connect an IPod?

Hello Gang!

I have the Bose premium sound system on my new 2005 Maxima SE. I do not have the Navigation system (as I thought it was not a worthwhile investment at $2,000). Does that mean I can connect an IPod to my Bose????????

Thanks for any info.

Sincerely,

Dennis D. Mullert
