Sure the engine always sounds different until everything warms up. Its like that with every car. Once its been running for 10-15 minutes it quiets down.

Sounds like the mysterious heat shield TSB. I got it too and I am taking in the car soon.

Let the car warm up...after 30 min of driving see if there still is rattle...if there is take the car in for the TSB.

I just got this problem (or one a lot like it) resolved this week after a whole year of dealing with it. Mine rattled under normal acceleration while cold at around 1800 and 2800 RPMs. I had them perform the heat shield TSP around the 6th time I brought it in and now on about the 12th time they finally found out it was something loose in one of the cats. They replaced the Y-Pipe and it's finally fixed. I was about ready to knock the **** out of somebody at that dealership if they couldn't get it figured out soon Oh well, I'm just happy to have a car that doesn't sound like a crappy old mitsubishi or whatever
