Lumbar support issue

I have a 04 max that the lumbar support mechanism moves when I accelerate fast or come to quick stop. Anyone else having this issue?
Taking to dealer this Friday.

Yep, I have this as well (so do many others).

Unfortunately, my dealer cannot replicate this issue... drives me nuts.

lumber support

I don't see how they can't duplicate it if you are feeling it all the time unless the person doing the testing is lying. I

had this happen to me where the tech said he didn't feel the clicking coming through my steering wheel twice now. I am not surprised but will keep at it if they try to screw me again.

diggin into the grave here... My lumbar recently felt as though it was tilted and I swear mid way moving it wobbles. service manager couldn't tell. So I sat in another max and told him I feel the difference, this one is how it used to feel. He said okay, I'll order you a new one and bill Nissan

lumbar steady

I have a 2005 SL and have not noticed this issue. I will be more careful to the monitor possibility and report back if indicated.

At any rate, I would be quite interested to hear the diagnosis of the actual problem (WHY the lumbar adjustment is moving when it should not) as opposed to just the sympton (the lumbar adjustment moves when accelerating). It makes me wonder if it is something inertia-related or merely electrical.

Yep,I actually mentioned this to the dealer when it was there, they found no problems. When I accellerate hard and im pushed back in the seat, the lumbar area feels as though its popping back into the seat, glad im not the only one, its probobly something that cant be fixed if its a design issue. Oh well.
