Using your factory Navi screen for DVD

Hi all, I just got back from CES and there are a few products that I saw that will be of interest to you guys.

I found a plug and play interface that will allow you to use the factory Navi screen as a regular TV screen for a DVD player, backup camera, Playstation, etc. They are not shipping yet but they had the demo units on display and they should be ready by late January.

I only have MSRP pricing which is $379, so your cost is obviously lower than that.

I'll keep you posted on this.

What have people been doing so far? I know of the AV Electronics module for the G35 crowd, but nothing for the Maxima as far as I know.

I got mine done in Brooklyn also, but I just installed a back-up camera, no DVD or XBox (not my cup of tea).

Thats the Brooklyn dealers' website.

I'm definatly interested in getting that screen to play dvd's. My one major problem is i don't have the navi system. I was thinking of getting the nissan one if possible, but i figured it would be too expensive. Any recommendations?

Otherwise i was going to go with the an alpine flip out dvd player, but i realized i love the steering wheel controls too much, and i don't want to have to many screens. It would be cleaner with just one.

Thanks for the welcome...

Here's a pic I took w/my phone when I first installed it. I love it, a little more pricey than parking-assist, but I couldn't imagine where they would put the sensrs and this added zero holes to my car...

While I'm at it, here's a pic of my car...chrome OEM rims, eibachs, Greddy exhaust, injen intake, front and rear bars...

Nav-TV has been around for a while now. I posted the links for the 5th gens with Navi a long time ago. I was about to add it to my Max, before it got wrecked. It's a great setup....
