NAV- deactivate the moving lockout?

I love the Nissan NAV system in my 04 max, EXCEPT that I hate the lockout when you are moving.

There must be a sensor somewhere that I can deactivate so the NAV is on all the time.

Has anyone done it, or knows where I can find some detailed info on how to do it?

Thanks!!!!

Even if there is some way to bypass it, don't do it. It's for your safety, and ours!

I agree. There is no need for you to be messing around with the NAV while you are DRIVING!!! You need to pay attention to the road

What about a passenger? Is it unsafe for them to mess around with the NAV?

Its not just NAV, there is also a lock out for non-nav units, Like when driving you can't adjust any of the car personalize menu settings at all, says for you to move the joystick down but just beeps and wont work till your at a complete stop.

Awhile back someone posted that they figured out how to do it. It required some wire splicing. Maybe someone can search for the exact post.
