Just Venting!

My brand new 05 Max SE smoke just got totalled in the front. I park my car at the Newport Centre parking lot because my building is right next to the mall. After I got out of work, I walked to the garage and noticed that my car was not in the spot that I had left it. When I got closer, I noticed that it was there but a couple of feet back and the whole front end was all smashed up. I am so... pissed off!

First of all, let me explain. It's a public parking lot for people who go to the mall and shop and there is also a monthly parking which I get because I live in S.I. and it's easier to drive than to commute in by mass trans. So, I went to the person who collects the money for parking and he told me that he had heard a loud bang and didn't think nothing of it. He even said that he saw the lady who hit my car because she was in a burgundy or maroon van but all he asked her was if everybody in the car was ok? I mean WTF? You don't even bother getting her license plate and to see if the other car is ok? I mean, how retarded is he? I had filed a police report and will ask the head of security to provide me with a tape of the video that is outside. Unfortunately, they do not have cameras taping the inside of the parking lot, only the outside. Hopefully, I will be able to locate that B*tch who hit my car. And I will definitely file charges. There is nothing that I can do right now but to claim insurance and pay my $1,000 deductible.

The only thing that I could be relieved about is that the engine is fine. The bumper is cracked and even the metal beam that protects the bumper was dented in like a V shape. It must of been a really hard hit. I mean, how the heck can you go like 20 mph in a parking lot. I really hope that person gets what's coming to her. What goes around comes around. I had to stop after I crossed the Manhattan Bridge just to pull my bumper out so that it does not rub against the front tires.

Sorry this is so long... just very upset that my baby is damaged. Plus, I was about to install my system in next week too. Guess, not as soon as I would like since it's going to be in the shop.

Guys, be careful where you park and make sure that no stupid idiot can ram it head on.

Check out the pics.

Most people behave like savages. Thats just sad that someone would ram your car and then take off. The world would be a much better place if people took some responsibility for themselves. Probably a soccer mom teaching a van load of kids how to hit and run so the next generation has better skills in that area. Dirty bastids.

WTF?!?!?! How can you not even write down the license plate number or get information from her? What's up with that guy? Nice employees they have working at the garage They tape the OUTSIDE OF THE GARAGE? Well thank God for that. Wouldn't want someone damaging the building.

Hey guys, here's the link to the pics of my baby!

Hopefully, when I get her back she will be like new.

She only had less than 900 miles on her.

Just spoke to my insurance agent and she told me that the garage's insurance should be liable since it was wrecked on their property. It's too late to call them now but will update you guys tomorrow.

Sickening. Some people just have very little respect or other people's property. She could have at least left a freakin sorry note. Some remorse at least would make it a little better.
