I would keep my 04 SL and put the 6K he was upside down into my 401K. I love my 04 SL and have had ZERO problems!

Well at least you stayed loyal and bought another Maxima. Congrats, hope this one is better for you. I own an 04 SE and have had zero problems with mine, so they are not all bad. In fact, I just put a new grille on mine and I am loving it more than ever now.

What color did you get?

Smart Man! except for your purchase of an "SL" & not an "SE" nah I really find it hard to belive how much people are having problems with there Maximas. Nissan should have fixed all the defects from the Altimas. Thats why I did'nt have any problems in buying a first year model car. I personaly have had no problems except for my RSA's which is Goodyears ****.

Are you kidding...I have the best of both worlds....The look of an SE (I have the 18" SE wheels) and all the luxuries of the SL....besides it is my company car anyway.

When I want to drive a real car, I hop in my '79 vette with 400 hp.

Zero emission on mine. Big block 400 will lay rubber for miles.

basically i lost about 5 k on my car trade in. that was due to high miles racked up in 6 months i had 22500 miles on it. guess it wasnt that bad cause i had ripped the floor carpet also... including a ciggatette burn on the right side door panel. NO more SMOKING in the new 05
