Center console storage/change holder/garbage?

I'm sure this has been posted a million times already, so let me apologize in advance.

But is there anyway to add a place on your console (or elsewhere) for coin storage and garbage storage?

Thanks.

I use the cup holder for keeping change and usually I will throw out garbage when I am getting out of the max but for a long trip I get a plastic bag and just throw the trash in there until I get to a trash can.

We have a little plastic box we keep in the console bin to hold coins. We line the inside bottom and sides with felt so as to mute any rattle of sliding coins. We appreciate the console box itself is also felt-lined.

For each of our vehicles, we have purchased compartmentalized open-top plastic containers that sit in the floor in front of the rear seat, next to the tranny hump, where we can reach them from the front seat. These are cheap at WalMart, Target, etc.

Some have handles enabling easy removal. We use them for mail, maps, 'Wet ones' (moist towelettes), flashlight, non-gloppy candies (snacks for trips), small grocery purchases, cheap temporary-use plastic 'coveralls', etc. We choose colors that coordinate with the upholstry.

We have moved our trunk compartmentalized cargo storage device from our '00 Maxima to our '04 Maxima. Nissan sells these through their parts department. The unit covers the full width of the trunk, is about 15" front-to-rear, about 8" deep at the front and 5" deep at the rear, with 5 separate compartments (each over a foot wide), with easily removable dividers between compartments. The unit is black flexible plastic, and is leak-free on the bottom, in case of spills

This device is wonderful for toting groceries or anything else you don't want to tip over or move around. We keep tools, papertowels, plastic bags, folding emergency reflector triangles, caps, spare flashlight with bright red cone attachment for emergency signalling, etc, in one compartment. Our jumper cables are in a separate flat container at the far end of the trunk, along with our umbrella.

When my wife and I are both in the car (which is most of the time), the passenger does all accessing of the center console. Having it open only from the driver's side has been an inconvenience.

Probably as have others, we find a need on the 6th gen Maxima for more easily-usable storage places within reach of the driver.

Wow. That's like the most intense description of using Tupperware I have ever heard.
