I just went to www.nissannews.com and re-red the 05 description... and the new interior is a titanium-tinted trim and actual chrome door handles.

I wouldn't be suprised it was a late addition to it as there was the Traction Control System that would be standard on all Maxima's starting with the November build. I wouldn't be suprised if something like the paint on the plastic changed during the same time frame.

I admit though, the 05 interior trim does look better than the 04. Right now, I am real happy with my trim. Have not seen another Max like it.
Did you remove the old pieces or glued the new ones on top of them ?
