3 Days with the New Max and pulled over

Yup. Didn't take long. Got on it a little... BOOM Red and Blue lights.
No ticket and a "nice car", from the apparent Max-friendly officer.

Hey Okiewan........

Man I don't know, it's your wife's car..........you get pulled over, and the cop just gives you a "nice car" and no ticket.........how dark are your tints?........are you sure the freindly officer, isn't your wifey's favorite law enforcer?...........J/K.homie.......it's kind of funny though....

don't take much to get carried away in that car.... I haven't had a ticket in my 04 but had my licence suspended 3 times with my 02............

speeding is not something I recommend.... stay slow and stay driving....

What do you think the citation would've been for? Or is it that the cop wanted a good look at the car =)... I wouldn't be surprised...

No ticket in my Max YET, but have gotten pulled over a couple of times, and both times i was not aware i was speeding... yeah i was passing other cars at a rapid rate but they were just driving slow. Damn i love my Max.The being a Marine thing got me out of those situations. Those would have surely been some expensive tickets.

I got stopped Saturday for my 20% tint all the way around oh and my license plate cover (he called it into the dispatch wrong.) I made his verbal warning list. Next time he sees me, he's writing me up with a court appearance. He then proceeeds to doubt he was the 1st one stopping me and asked how I ws getting through inspection....gee I dunno, maybe because I don't have to go through until 2008. Moron. Yea I won't be driving through that town for a while in the max...I'll take my gf's explorer.

I went for months without a ticket since I got the car... then I took a trip to South Jersey and BLAM! 2 tickets and a warning over 2 days. That's what I get for going on road trips...

Lets see, what are my list of things I could get pulled over for, other than speed. No license plate on front, no license plate on back, tinted windows, tinted tail lights, removing the cat. convertor. Hmmmmm. Havent gotten red lighted yet.!!! hahahahaha

That's funny, I got pulled over for speeding a few months ago...the cop was on a bike and said he had to do 100+ to catch up to me. Anyway, I told him that I didn't realize that I was going that fast and I was just moving with the traffic. He said,"Maybe you shouldn't have gotten the 265 horses then...." I looked at him and smiled...he said, "it's a nice car, drive it slower!" and then he let me go!!!! It was the first time that my car saved me from a speeding ticket!!!!

I have gotten many tint tickets already though

Just a Warning

Yesterday morning I got stopped by a local officer in a small town. It was 5:00 in the morning and he said I was going 45 in a 35 zone. Fortunately, I got off with just a verbal warning. Considering my driving habits, I am lucky to not get stopped more. I've had two tickets over the past two years, but before than didn't have any tickets for about 15 years.

I must be lucky. I have had my 04 since September and a 98se for three years before that and I have not got a ticket. I have not even been pulled over. The funny thing is ever since I have had a max I should have been pulled at the very very least once.

Got pulled over the day after I got my car. I was driving home that Sunday night from a friend's house when suddenly I saw the dreaded blue/red lights flashing behind me!!! I didnt even notice the cop before he turned on his lights. Anyways, he approached my car and I asked why I was pulled over. He said because I dont have a license plate in my car!!! So I told him its because I just got my car the day before (which was a Saturday) and the DMV was already closed. Showed him the necessary docs, then after like 5min of reading them (he was an old cop),he let me go, then pulled over another car!!! well, I guess he first notice how shiny and spankin' clean my car was, before he noticed my lack of a license plate!
