Tri-Phase Performance Module

Have any of guys heard of this or has this installed....it's seems like a pretty sweet performance mod for cheap:

e Tri-Phase is the most advanced and versatile module in our product line. The module utilizes a triad of operating parameters that enable the user to select their desired performance level. The Tri-Phase functions by intercepting sensor outputs, modifying them, and outputting them to the vehicle's onboard computer. The Tri-Phase module is also compatible with most popular performance upgrades such as aftermarket intake, exhaust, and ignition systems, low boost forced induction systems, lightened and/or underdrive pulley kits, grounding kits, and many others. We strive to achieve the highest standards of quality, while maintaining the best horsepower per dollar ratio in the industry. Simply put, Next Level performance modules are the best "bang for the buck" you will find.

I may get this......

it modifies signals being read by the ECU, causing an adjustment to the fuel curve, which is what creates the increase in horsepower and torque
It might read the signal, and rebroadcast it to make that adustment to gain better performance. I'd be careful... If all that's being read is the fuel curve input it will lean out the fuel, which will result in a gain in HP. However the bad part is you will stress out the engine, and risk over heating, and possibly buring up piston rings at a faster then normal rate - not good.

My reply is made with an engineer's insight, and I feel free to say I don't have any experience with this particular device, so my reply sould only be viewed as my opinon.

Good luck to ya.

This reminds me of the jet chip ecu thread.

Glude, just read all that Jet ECU thread. I agree, this is much like it.

I say wait for Techosquare or Stillen to come out with something which cracks the ECU codes. These other things loook like snake oil to me.

Does anyone know if an safcII or smt6 would work on our cars? Ive been thinking about ordering a smt6 and having it tuned but Im still unsure if it would work. Probably be better to get a y pipe first so I get maximum gains when tuning.

It's another one of those home-made resistor/capacitor combos in a Radio Shack project box. I don't believe in messing up my car
