Getting stuck trying to shift in 1st
So I've had my max for a little over 2 weeks (with 1000+ miles already) and I've noticed a bit of a problem. Here's the scenario. I'm sitting at a stoplight, in neutral. Light turns green, I depress the clutch, attempt to shift into 1st, but for some reason, I am unable to shift completely into 1st gear. It gets stuck about halfway. I attempt again by shifting back into neutral and then go into first, unsuccessfully. I proceed by releasing the clutch and stepping on the gas as if I were were in gear completely. The shifter then moves into 1st gear posistion completely and I'm on my way.
This only happens on occasion but is a bit embarassing when I am unable to move my car and people behind me are honking, while I'm trying to get into first gear. It's weird that I am unable to shift completely into first from a standstill. I depress the clutch all the way, everytime. Is this bad for my car? Am i doing something wrong?

You should take that problem back to the dealership, that's not normal at least in my case.
Only on cold mornings the shifts are a little scratchy but from 1st to 2nd and that's all I have experienced with gears being difficult.
