New Microchip on Ebay

I Know I know, I just want to know what you all think about this chip, and on this one in specific, seller seems to be a long time company developing racing stuff, feedbacks are not bad, just 1 Non-happy customer, but he assures that will work as stated, he also offers free Priority Mail Shipping and no questions no hassle Money back Guarantee.

As you may see, too good to be true, so the main question from a newbie Nissan Maxima Owner, Can this chip really makes a difference? What could be the issues?

Thanks.

Oh man, that is just a resistor like a cheap radio shack timing tricker....DO NOT EVEN MESS WITH THIS BS.....still laughing about the product. 35-40 HP increase.....more like 35-40 dollar power decrease from your wallet.

This has got to be snake oil... I mean, 35-40 hp from some magical chip and it doesn't give you any details? I mean, it SHOULD at least say what exactly does it do, doesn't it?

All I see is that it "regulates air and fuel intake into motor" but does not require any special tools or affect emissions... and if you read their "warranty", you see that they'll replace it if anything happens to it, not that they'll give you your money back if you put the car in the dyno and nothing happens...

Could be something, or could be crap. But I know I'm not gonna be the one to find out...

JEJE, that is exactly what it looked to me, but seen about 16 feedbacks from Buyers of the same product then I began to doubt about it.

This is not a microchip...just a pretty resistor.

4.7k ohm, 1/2 watt resistor in the male end of the IAT sensor to fool the PCM into thinking that the incoming air is a constent 57 °F thus advancing the timing 1.5 degrees...in theory. What the LS1 guys call.....CRAP

You want to mess with it though, just go to Radio Shack and ask for a package of them. Pretty cheap.
