In-Cabin Micro Filter Replacement

Has anyone replaced your in-cabin micro filter yourself and did you remove the glove box?

Gman...If I remember correctly, it does say it in the manual and you have to remove the glovebox door...at least on my 2005 Maxima. It's a HEPA filter and does have to be replaced. Someone here said they had a washable filter...which suprised me for a HEPA filter as I asked the dealership about this today and they said there was no washable one for the 2004 or 2005...but I might be wrong as the dealership is not alway's right as some people have said here....
