Cold Weather & Vibration/Shake over 45Mph

Has anyone experieced this? I find it pretty annoying, and when it first happened i called the dealer and demanded service...after I had my venting, it was not doing it anymore. I'd say its happened 3-4 times. When its very cold and I think it only happenes when it snows and my car is parked outside, Ill notice a violent shake above 45Mph...the whole car, not just the steering wheel. My theory is that there is snow and/or ice packed somewhere on the inner part of the wheels, thereby making them unbalanced. Anyone ever have this happen? It usually lasts for the greater part of a half-hr trip. I try keeping it in the garage now.

You're theory is correct. Snow/Ice will build up in the inner wheel and cause an unbalanced situation. It's happened to me every time it snows. I called the dealer the 1st time it happened and I was told to clear out the snow from the wheels and drive it for a few days. The shimmy eventually went away. He also told me that I was the 100th person to call that day about the same thing so, we aren't the only ones!
