question~~~~ hmmmm???

i got the 05 SL, was wondering:

--what is the largest size rim i could get with out changing the suspension..

i love the suspension, so i want to keep it, but i want to ge a larger rim size. i have no idea what this tire placement and other things are~ help?

larger size wheels will make the ride harder, thats why they come with 17's on them.

I doubt 18's will make a difference, but if you put 19's or 20's, u'll probably feel a difference.

22" is about the biggest I have seen on a Max. I can say that with 3 big military guys in the back of my car, one of them heard my wheel rub with 20" rims. I have no drop kit. Hope this helps.

if i have the drop kits done eibach..can i get a 20 x 8.5 or 8 fits without any rubbing??
