Emailed AT about the 6th gen grille....small update inside

As the title states, I emailed Dave at Active Tuning about the progress on the 6th gen grille and this was my reply.

Hey Dave,

No problem! We just finished the grille for the 05+ Altima, so next up we put a lot more concentration into the Maxima grille. I’m dying to get a final product out there just as much as you. Give me a few more weeks and send another update and we’ll see where we stand in terms of furthering production. We do have A LOT on our plates right now, so I can’t promise how long it will take, but we’re trying our best J

Thanks,

Dave

I like the SSE, its got a nice price too...but I dont like the dinky little emblem that i (think) comes with it...and how can you properly affix the OEM one to mesh?

I don't like the SSE Grille. I made this comment in another thread. There is no trim around the mesh. It just looks like it's floating in there and it's looks ricey imo. Why spend that much through stillen when you can get practivally the same thing through home depot. I think it cheapens the look of the max to be honest but.......I'll wait

Here's a photo shop taken from what the Altima grill looks like (colors a bit off)

Jsmith, that looks awesome!! Nice photoshop!

Add me to the list. That completely changes the look of it (and I dont think it looks Altima like) It looks lean and mean!

Nice chop. I'll wait for the AT Grille. There's only one thing I don't like about ANY aftermarket grille but the sarona. If you look at AT's S2 Grille for the altima, it flows with the hood lines. The S5 has the hood lines in the middle like the max and they just fall off the front of the car. Nothing lines up in the grille. The only grille that does this is the sarona. Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm
