Staggered Rims

Is it possible to run this combination on the 6th gen? Something such as 19x8 in the front with a 45mm offset, but a 19x9 or 19x10 in the rears with a 20mm offset? Am I dreaming and need to wake up?

the front is ok, but the rear will prob rub the inside wall.... the wider the rim, the more offset you need...

I don't know how much we can go in the rear, but 20mm offset is just too low I think..

the less offset, the rim gets closer to the inside wall.... increase the offset to the same rim and it will pull away from the inside wall...

like I said I dunno how far we can go, but front 19x8 @ 45mm offset, and rear 19x10 @ around 38-45mm offset sound abit doable...

unless someone could correct me on that....

The Street Concepts Maxima runs with staggered rims and tires. I think it has like a 20x8 and 20x9.

it doesn't matter how big they are.. cause you can run 22x8 no prob, but you can't fit 22x9.5 though.. it all matters on how "wide" the rim is.. the width is what causes the rubbing not the height....

I dont want to exceed 20", but I want to stagger the setup if possible, and have as small of an offset possible with the rears for an obvious deep dish look. Something that would enhance handling, rather than hinder it. Im lookin at BBS, I love the european racing look and the lightweight.

I understand.. you want a deep dish look.. you can do it, but not with a 10'' wide rim.. I don't have any knowledge on what to recommend on this matter..

I do know, the less the offset "20" the closer the rim gets to the inside wall.. remember that.. you might have to go with a 19x8 and go with a 20mm offset.. do some more research though, I'm not sure..

HA! True!

No need with the FWD. Also, when it comes time to rotate......

even with the logical reasons previously stated, if you still feel the desire to do so, guess you can go to a shop and try wheels on to see what works and what they can do.

Yeah I guess if 20x9's are ok I could do that at all 4 corners and be happy, they have rims which still have a deep lip but not a very low offset. Why would the lower offset bring the inner sidewall closer to the car? It seems it would be the opposite, and the wheel would stick out more on the sides. Because what happens if you flip the rim and put it on backwards, you then have a -45mm offset and the rim is then sticking 7.5" outside the car, right?

Fit? Maybe. But I'd wonder why anyone would want their car to understeer even more than before
