Quick Question about foglight/turn signal removal (not covered by sticky)
The sticky is pretty brief, and since so many people have done this already I was wondering if you could answer a few things. Did anyone happen to take a photo of what exactly they took apart to get to the bulbs? The sticky makes no mention of unsealing the headlight housing, so im going to assume you don't have to. I was told before that unsealing the assembly WAS required, which sounded like B.S. What I really want to get rid of the bulbs that reflect orange in the day. The sticky sounds very simple, but im looking for a little more info. Any comments would be great

for mine.. i remember taking out the airbox and battery.. for those lights.. the signals sits behind this piece of metal thats hard to get to and stick the light in.. at least the LEDS were hard to put in the regular bulbs fit in easy.. as far as the fogs.. after you remove the battery and airbox.. its a cinch. hope this helps..
only problem i had was after i removed the air filter and put it back my gas mileage dropped quite low.. and its coming up but staying around 20mpg i dunno why..

Thanks, yeah i poked around last night and noticed that I can get my arm in there and take out the pass. fog without removing anything at all...and I believe I can do the same thing on the driver side by only removing the front snorkel for the intake...Im gonna try it today. I was able to get at the driver side blinker and could probobly switch it out...but as for the pass. It looks like there is that metal above it which make it difficult. Anyone able to get the pass. turn signal out without taking out the assembly? (Fogs are easy, Ill do that today, but before I take off the plastic cover and that tank I wanna know if it will still be unaccessable)

no how hard was it to just pop open the hood and look around? it's not hard to figure which hole is which bulb. if you can't get it out, then remove what's in the way.
only hard thing is aligning the notches for the fog to get it back in. of course the more you take out, the more room you have.

If I take out the tank the orange signal IS going to be accessable? Im taking back the unopened silverstar if I discover no difference at night either.

And also, The blinkers are 1157 right...but the turning lamps on the bottom on the bumper are 3156? I cant find a 3156 in stores, wtf?
